Some of us (perhaps most of us) are collecting Social Security by now, if we chose to take early retirement.  Most of us have grandchildren, and some even have great-grandchildren.  We are definitely, one could say, in our "September Years".

It seemed like such an appropriate theme.  And believe it or not, the only Saturday date available at Lavender Crest in 2006 was coincidentally in September.

This was the first time that our Class Reunion has been held in September.  Most Reunions were held during the month of July.  The weather for the entire event was pleasant - great for golfing, hiking, biking, or simply walking the bike path along the mighty Mississippi.
